We are seeking a proactive and seasoned Field Training and Support Engineer to serve as the technical cornerstone of our U.S. Customer Success organization. You will be at the forefront of drone safety and security technology, working in a fast‑paced environment where your leadership directly impacts national security and public safety. In this role, you will be the primary product expert for our cutting‑edge counter‑UAS (C‑UAS) hardware and software, responsible for empowering our customers and service partners through world‑class training while providing high‑level technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead high‑impact in‑person and virtual training sessions for our hardware and software suites; develop and enhance training curricula covering existing features and future product capabilities.
  • Act as the primary technical lead for external service partners; evaluate, train, and manage these partners to maintain high standards for field delivery and support.
  • Maintain an exhaustive understanding of RF‑based C‑UAS technology, acting as the "voice of the product" for U.S. customers and bridging the gap between field reality and internal engineering teams.
  • Serve as a Tier 2 support escalation point; diagnose and resolve complex system issues and participate in a support rotation to provide seamless coverage for critical client needs.
  • Oversee or support on‑site surveys, installations, configurations, and system testing to ensure hardware and software are optimized for specific RF environments.
  • Create and validate technical manuals, Statements of Work (SOW), and best‑practice guides for end‑users and partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 5–7 years of experience in Field Engineering, Technical Training, or Professional Services within a high‑tech hardware/software environment.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) systems and Counter‑UAS (C‑UAS) technology.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and scaling third‑party service providers or channel partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field (FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate highly preferred).
  • Ability to work in the McLean, VA office (in‑office position) and to travel domestically and occasionally internationally to customer sites (estimated 50–75% depending on training schedule).
  • Willingness to participate in a support rotation, including occasional nights and weekends.
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs during field deployments.
Why is This a Great Opportunity

Leading a mission‑critical team that directly supports U.S. national security and public safety while developing expertise in advanced DFIR technology. You will shape training programs, influence product development, and collaborate with top‑tier partners in a high‑visibility role.
