Cloud SRE​/Vault Automation

Must Have

Qualifications:

2+ years of General Cloud experience, Scripting, and Hashi Corp Vault.

Schedule:

Nonstandard - 1 weekend per month.

• Responsible for providing customer support for critical Enterprise tools such as Hashicorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.
• Provide on-call support on a periodic basis and participate in troubleshooting sessions with application teams.
• Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions and strategies.
• Continually define ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

• 2–5 years' experience in cloud SRE activities, such as capacity management, monitoring, and core services integrations for AWS.
• Hands‑on and demonstrable experience with AWS management tools: AWS Config, Cloud Trail, Cloud Watch, Systems Manager, Cloud Formation.
• Experience with scripting tools to automate routine operation tasks.
• Experience in championing change and effectively managing project/program implementation.
• Documentation of engineering solutions and designs.

• Experience with scripting languages JavaScript, Perl, Python, shell scripting.
• General understanding of key IT components: LDAP, networking, firewall, load balancing, federated identity.
• Exposure to varied operating systems:
  Unix, Linux, Windows.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts using easily understandable business language.
