Information Systems Security Officer supporting customer activities. GDIT’s ISSO team drives cyber security services across multiple fabrics and centers. As an ISSO, you will help ensure operational IT capabilities provide the client with the timeliness, accuracy and security of information demanded from all highly professional roles.

• Provide information assurance support to systems and programs
• Coordinate and implement cyber security policies, standards and processes
• Maintain operational security posture using a customized Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Leverage strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure, commercial cloud and cloud security
• Evaluate security solutions to ensure requirements are met for processing classified information
• Provide configuration management and documentation for system software, hardware, networks, enclaves, etc.
• Prepare and review system documentation including Systems Security Plans (SSPs), Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, architecture diagrams, contingency plans, incident response plans and other documentation
• Support programmatic and organizational project and risk management review boards
• Perform vulnerability scanning and risk assessment analysis using NIST 800-53 and prepare responses to Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
• Understand NIST 800-53, NIST 800-37, RMF, ICD 503 and CNSSI 1253
• Strong written and oral communication skills to produce technical analysis reports and security plans

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a closely related discipline
• Required Experience:
  
  5+ years of related experience
• Preferred Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  experience with coordinating and implementing cyber security policies, standards and processes; strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure, commercial cloud and cloud security; understanding of NIST 800-53, NIST 800-37, RMF, ICD 503, CNSSI 1253; strong written and oral communication skills
• Security Clearance:
  Top Secret SCI with active polygraph
