Cloud SRE​/Vault Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for enterprise-grade tools such as Hashi Corp Vault and cloud secrets management platforms (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager).
• Participate in on-call rotations and support incident troubleshooting with application and infrastructure teams.
• Monitor, maintain, and improve cloud system reliability, availability, and performance.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and streamline operational processes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to reduce manual operational effort.
• Document engineering solutions, operational procedures, and system designs.
• Support cloud infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and incident response activities.

• 3+ years of experience in Cloud SRE / Cloud Operations roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services, including:
  • AWS Config
  • Cloud Trail
  • Cloud Watch
  • AWS Systems Manager
  • Cloud Formation
• Experience working with Hashi Corp Vault or similar secrets management tools.
• Strong scripting experience for automation (Python, Shell, JavaScript, or Perl).
• Experience in supporting production systems and participating in on-call rotations.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
• Experience documenting technical solutions and operational processes.
• Exposure to enterprise cloud integration and system reliability practices.

• Understanding of core IT infrastructure components:
  • LDAP
  • Networking
  • Firewalls
  • Load balancers
  • Federated identity systems
• Experience working across multiple operating systems (Linux, UNIX, Windows).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in business-friendly terms.
• Experience driving automation and process improvements in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with change management and production release processes.
