Principal Associate, Project Management-Enterprise Data

As a Principal Associate of Project Management at Capital One, you will help initiate strategy and lead execution on high priority projects for the company.

You’ll work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that directly impact the company's bottom line, taking on important responsibility from day one and working with key stakeholders across the company.

Enterprise Data helps drive and evolve Capital One’s data journey. Our products support data producers and consumers, driving business processes and innovation across all corners of the company. The Data Operations team in Enterprise Data is reimagining how we enable acceleration of our data journey.

• Work on small to medium‑scale department projects that have a direct impact on the company.
• Work with partners to assist in project planning and design.
• Leverage problem‑solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation.
• Document progress and report to stakeholders on project status.
• Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
• Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes.
• Understand key priorities and complex issues quickly for the larger organization and create clear written presentations/communications.
• Create and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.

• Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work.
• Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes.
• Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands.
• Display strong consulting and collaboration skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent military experience.
• At least 5 years of Project Management experience.

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certifications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and influencing skills.
• Work experience achieving results.

McLean, VA: $120,800 - $137,900

Richmond, VA: $109,900 - $125,400

Salary information is given for full‑time annual salaries in the listed locations. Additional performance‑based incentive compensation may be earned.
