Responsibilities
- Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, Dev Sec Ops , and other program initiatives to drive technical success.
- Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions that fit their unique needs and ecosystems.
- Guide implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies.
- Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance.
- Integrate multi-tier architecture through integrations and system configuration.
- Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back‑office implementations.
- Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal enablement.
- Provide thought leadership on process improvement.
- Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
- Mentor, train, and enable resources.
- 6+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
- 6+ years of related IT experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Active Appian Lead Certification.
- Strong experience with Agile delivery.
- Strong technical implementation skills.
- Strong database design and development skills.
- Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing.
- Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes.
- Experience implementing Cloud, On‑Premises, and Hybrid platform deployments.
- Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong communication, analytical, and strategic foresight skills.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work in a high‑paced environment, multi‑task, and work both independently and as a team.
- Preference for candidates local to the DC Metro area; U.S. Citizen required.
- Willingness to travel 0‑15% to client meetings in Washington, DC area and Dallas, TX.
- RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
- Authentication (SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP)
- Web services, integrations and middleware (RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)
- Cloud Computing/IaaS (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Source Control (Git, SVN, CVS)
- Software troubleshooting and performance tuning.
