AI & Data Integration Solution Engineer – Global Public Sector, US Federal Region
The AI & Data Integration Solution Engineer is a technical and strategic partner who leads the data‑to‑AI lifecycle for government customers. Responsibilities include closing sales opportunities, leading product demos, workshops, and architectural strategy sessions, and designing compliant, AI‑ready architectures that unify disparate data and enable autonomous agents.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with account executives, customers, and partners to formulate comprehensive technical account strategies and secure technical wins.
- Lead product demonstrations, technical workshops, architecture strategy sessions, and customer engagements.
- Conduct holistic discovery, define the “data‑to‑agentic‑AI journey,” and design compliant, AI‑ready architectures that deliver actionable insights from disparate silos.
- Bridge legacy system connectivity with modern mission outcomes, navigate API management, real‑time data unification, advanced analytics, and intelligent agentic systems.
- Support the sales process with technical activities that drive higher win rates and faster deal cycles.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field.
- Knowledge of relational databases and web technologies.
- Strong oral, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied political environments.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in solution engineering, enterprise architecture, or digital transformation.
- Architectural mindset: design secure, composable architectures that scale in regulated government environments (FedRAMP High, Impact Level 4/5/6).
- Multi‑platform technical depth: hands‑on or deep conceptual knowledge of Mule Soft, Tableau, Data 360, and agentic AI; two of the core capabilities plus demonstrated prior experience with agentic AI.
- Agentic AI experience: at least 2 years of designing or deploying intelligent agents, LLM integration, orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, or Retrieval‑Augmented Generation.
- Strategic communication: reframe technical challenges into mission and business value for C‑level government executives and technical stakeholders.
- AI readiness: deep understanding of “Trusted Context Foundations” for AI, including data grounding and metadata intelligence.
- Collaboration and influence: partner early with Account Executives, lead “Data + Agentic AI Discovery” from day one.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in solution engineering, enterprise architecture, or digital transformation with hands‑on delivery of AI/data/integration projects.
- Technical foundations: degree in Computer Science/IT or relevant training; prior experience with APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern development practices.
- US citizenship required.
- Salesforce certifications.
- Previous experience as a solution/sales engineer.
- Certifications:
Mule Soft Certified Architect, Tableau Desktop/Server Specialist, Salesforce Data 360 Consultant, AI Associate credentials, or equivalent. - Deep understanding of Public Sector/DoD compliance (FedRAMP, IL4/5/6) and common government data silos.
- Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, data governance, MDM tools, and exposure to agentic AI frameworks or orchestration patterns.
- Experience delivering AI solutions in highly regulated or mission‑critical environments.
- 3 months:
Complete onboarding courses and certifications; build a “Data‑to‑Agentic AI Journey” whiteboard; shadow active Public Sector engagements. - 12 months:
Lead complex solutions, evangelize the vision of unified data foundations, mentor account teams, and architect solutions that unify citizen data, modernize legacy systems, enable real‑time analytics, and deploy agentic AI.
Typical base salary range: $134,750 – $180,250 annually. In California, New York, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the range is $148,190 – $198,170 per year. Salary is base only and may include bonus, equity, and benefits. Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, vision, mental health support, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and an employee stock purchasing program.
