Solution Architect​/Senior Solution Architect; Public Sector Industry

Overview

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Architect to lead one or more work streams in sophisticated enterprise engagements. The role partners with key collaborators to drive and achieve the vision, delivering customer ROI through strong communication, solution and technical knowledge, and Salesforce product expertise.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the client
• Identify and lead internal initiatives to grow the consulting practice and contribute to the community's knowledge base
• Guide customers and colleagues in deploying new technologies that drive business value
• Collaborate with strong communication skills, instructing sophisticated concepts and applying prescriptive thinking across client levels
• Identify and proactively address risk areas and drive issue resolution
• Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions with the customer and third-party partners
• Review and adjust project direction and key artifacts to keep programs on track and ensure scalable solutions
• Drive program vision and articulate strategies to enable technologies including the Salesforce platform

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies throughout the full lifecycle
• Extensive experience with configuration and customization on the Salesforce platform
• Experience defining system architecture, identifying gaps, and delivering comprehensive solutions to enable business outcomes
• Experience leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed designs
• Experience detailing business processes and designing system workflows using process diagrams, UML, and related tools
• Hands-on technical experience with Service Cloud, Omni Studio and Public Sector (PSS)
• Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to present viewpoints clearly to diverse audiences
• Ability to rapidly learn and apply new concepts and technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to develop audience-appropriate materials
• Demonstrated track record as a standout team member on large-scale enterprise implementations with multiple work streams
• Excellent listening skills and ability to connect with people in diverse roles
• Resourceful and entrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Travel up to ~25% may be required
• Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience working with clients in the Public Sector
• Experience with Salesforce Gov Cloud or Gov Cloud Plus
• This candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to complete a U.S. federal background investigation for a Moderate Public Trust position

• Delivering high-value business outcomes through agile approaches
• Proven results leading customer and/or partner success stories
• Experience with Experience Cloud
• Relevant Salesforce certifications and consulting experience

• Ability to acquire Public Trust Security Clearance (or higher) is a plus
• Adjudications on HSPD-12 or other federal security clearances is a plus

This candidate must be a U.S. citizen who does not hold dual citizenship and agrees to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position.
