Senior Associate, Product Management - Machine Learning and AI Product Management at Capital One. This role focuses on reimagining the status quo, identifying value creation opportunities, and delivering innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology.

The AI Product Manager will lead the development of the next generation of GenAI products. The candidate will guide product development teams and ensure features align with strategic business goals. A strong analytical mindset and deep understanding of AI technologies are required, with the ability to collaborate across teams to launch innovative, user-centric, and commercially viable products.

• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of artificial intelligence products within Commercial Bank.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to define product specifications while working with marketing, operations, risk, lending, and sales teams to ensure market resonance.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for AI applications and techniques.
• Manage product roadmap, prioritize features, and balance business goals with technological and AI capabilities.
• Engage stakeholders across lines of business (e.g., Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Bank, Capital Markets, Treasury Management) to understand user needs, gaps, and opportunities.
• Apply design thinking to understand user personas and journeys to drive problem solving.
• Develop a short- to medium-term roadmap based on problems, gaps, and opportunities.
• Serve as Product Manager for a cross-functional pod of data scientists, engineers, and data analysts, prioritizing backlog, refining stories, and ensuring iterative delivery each quarter.

• Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
  • At least 1 year of product management experience or at least 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
  • 1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
  • 1+ years working on core product platforms powering digital experiences.
  • 1+ years collaborating with cross-functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process.

• The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries are location-specific and listed below. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated.
• Charlotte, NC: $101,100 - $115,400;
  McLean, VA: $111,200 - $126,900;
  Richmond, VA: $101,100 - $115,400. Other locations follow their respective ranges.
• This role is eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
