We believe our portfolio of businesses and investments in growth and transformation will result in a company with the scale, brand, capabilities, talent, and values to succeed as the digital revolution transforms our society and our industry.

About the Role and Team

The Learning & Development team at Capital One is on a mission to unlock the full potential of every associate—empowering them to discover their unique career path, grow their capabilities, and thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment. As Senior Associate of Product Management, you will own the operational engine that makes L&D strategy real — partnering daily with the delivery team to translate what associates actually experience into vendor decisions, content improvements, and execution metrics.

This role develops deep craft across platform operations, cross-functional partnership, and delivery execution—with direct line of sight into how enterprise learning products get built and improved.

Four key areas of growth
  • Human Centered
    • Collaborate with tech teams to build comprehensive acceptance criteria and identify needs for additional research to define future feature design
    • Break down business epics into features and user stories, guiding the team toward lowest effort or MVP for valid feature testing
  • Business Focused
    • Demonstrate growth mindset and use hypothesis-driven analysis of data to ensure the product delivers real business value
    • Own and prioritize feature development roadmaps and manage risk through required processes and procedures
  • Technology Driven
    • Work autonomously in an agile environment to research and develop features using new and evolving technology
    • Collaborate with designers, technologists, data scientists and subject-matter experts to build cutting-edge solutions
    • Deliver well-managed product platforms by understanding technology trends and architecture strategy
  • Transformational Leadership
    • Participate in horizontal forums to build a network of trusted relationships across tech teams and stakeholders
    • Articulate a succinct product roadmap to deliver business value and share it with stakeholders
We want you if you are:
  • Intellectually Curious. You ask why, explore, and are comfortable with ambiguity. You seek challenges and are eager to learn.
  • Communicator & Influencer. You can clearly communicate complex ideas to different audiences and rally associates to work with you.
  • Do-er. You are biased toward action, handle roadblocks, stay organized, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
  • Passionate & Customer Focus. You care about growing others, shipping products, and understanding customer needs.
  • Learner. You continuously learn while remaining humble when asking for help.
  • Team Player. You work well with diverse people and prioritize the team’s success locally and across the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of product management experience or 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
  • 1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer-facing digital products
  • 1+ years of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences
  • 1+ years working with cross-functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process
