Kubernetes Engineer

Pay: $55-$60/hr

Must-Have Technical
Experience:
- EKS: Kubernetes platform operations, with real-world experience running and managing EKS clusters. Deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals, especially control plane behavior, pod lifecycle, and networking within EKS.
- Understanding of control plane mechanics, workload scheduling, node group management, and cluster configuration.
- CICD: Groovy scripting in Jenkins pipelines, especially for shared CI/CD logic Familiarity with how CI/CD workflows deploy to Kubernetes clusters, manage secrets, build images, and perform rollouts
- Coding: Go development for building automation and operational tooling Experience building internal tools that interface with Kubernetes APIs or support automation/observability
- AWS services: (e.g., EKS, EC2, S3, Route
53, IAM, Secrets Manager, ACM) to the extent they interact with EKS. Emphasis is on EKS-specific knowledge: how Kubernetes integrates with IAM (IRSA), VPC, ELB, and Cloud Watch.
