Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: IT SYSTEMS & ENDPOINT SPECIALIST – macOS

Are you the person who likes figuring out why something isn’t working, whether the problem turns out to be a Mac, a device configuration, hardware, a network connection, or something else entirely?

We’re looking for a hands-on IT professional with strong macOS skills and solid technical fundamentals across endpoint support, hardware, and networking.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to do more than close help desk tickets and continue building deeper systems and endpoint expertise.

You’ll work in a Mac-focused environment where you’ll troubleshoot complex problems, configure and support endpoints, work with device management tools, support hardware and network connectivity, and help improve how devices are deployed, managed, secured, and maintained.

You don’t need to arrive knowing every technology in the environment. We care about what you already know, but just as importantly, we’re looking for someone who is technically curious, learns quickly, and enjoys getting under the hood to understand how things work.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
  • Troubleshoot and support macOS laptops and desktops
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Mac endpoints
  • Diagnose hardware, software, Wi-Fi, network, and connectivity problems
  • Work with endpoint management and MDM technologies
  • Support software deployment, patching, device configuration, and endpoint security
  • Support iPhones, iPads, and other mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot authentication, user access, and account-related issues
  • Investigate technical problems that cross devices, operating systems, applications, and networks
  • Provide direct technical support to users, including executives
  • Document technical environments, configurations, procedures, and solutions
  • Identify opportunities to automate or improve repetitive IT processes
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Strong hands-on macOS troubleshooting and support experience
  • Experience administering, configuring, or deploying Macs in a business or organizational environment
  • Experience with an endpoint management or MDM platform such as JAMF, Workspace ONE, Intune, Kandji, Mosyle, or similar
  • Solid understanding of computer hardware and hardware troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, LANs, and VPNs
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts and the ability to investigate unfamiliar technical problems
  • Experience providing direct technical support to users
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate or collaborate
  • Genuine interest in continuing to build deeper systems, endpoint, networking, and automation skills
GREAT TO HAVE, BUT NOT REQUIRED
  • JAMF or other Apple device-management technologies
  • Apple Business Manager or automated device enrollment
  • Endpoint security, patch management, or system hardening
  • Bash, Python, Power Shell, or other scripting/automation experience
  • Git or other version-control tools
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Apple, JAMF, or related certifications
WHO MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT

Your current title might be IT Support Specialist, IT Administrator, Systems Administrator, Endpoint Administrator, Desktop Support Engineer, Systems Support Specialist, or Junior Endpoint Engineer.

We’re less concerned with your exact title than with the technical foundation behind it.

You may be the person on your current team who gets the more complicated Mac issues. Maybe you’ve started working with JAMF, Intune, Workspace ONE, or another MDM platform and want to go deeper. Perhaps you’re good with hardware and networking and have begun learning scripting or automation because you don’t want to solve the same problem manually twenty times.

If you’re technically curious, enjoy solving problems, and want an environment where you can continue expanding your skills, we’d like to hear from you.
