The role focuses on designing and building next-generation cloud data platforms to support scalable, secure, and cost-efficient operations. You will design AWS database architectures (RDS, Aurora, Redshift), migrate legacy databases to AWS (DMS), and develop standards, runbooks, and best practices while ensuring high availability, security, governance, and compliance.
