The Authorizations platform is responsible for millions of spend decisions for COF credit and debit cards each day. Our mission is to “unleash customer spend while making the best decision on each and every auth.” In less than one second, our platform harnesses the power of big data, sophisticated rulesets, and machine learning to achieve this goal. In doing so, we empower internal customers across fraud and credit teams to implement dynamic authorization policies that reduce fraud loss, enable higher spend, and enhance customer experience - all while appropriately managing risk.

One of the greatest areas of opportunity to unlock additional value from this platform is to improve the speed, ease, and reliability by which data be implemented for use in authorizations decisions. To help reach that goal, we are seeking a tech-driven, data-minded product manager to play a critical role in driving the adoption of a new foundational E2E tech stack.

This stack will blend the latest Capital One enterprise data tools, the team’s custom components tailored to Authorizations requirements, and new data sources that are evolving from around the company.

  • You’ll breakdown business epics into features and further into user stories, driving your team towards lowest effort or Minimal Viable Product (MVP) for a valid feature test
