This position requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level with required polygraph.

We are seeking an experienced Geospatial Analyst to support mission-critical geospatial initiatives through the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our ArcGIS Enterprise environment. This individual will serve as the team's primary resource for ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS, geospatial modeling, and enterprise GIS capabilities.

The ideal candidate has a passion for geospatial technology, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and takes the initiative to stay current with ESRI's rapidly evolving suite of products. This role is expected to evaluate new capabilities, recommend practical improvements, and help the team maximize the value of the ArcGIS platform while supporting customer mission needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance geospatial datasets, maps, and analytical products using ArcGIS Pro.
  • Design, build, and optimize geoprocessing workflows using Model Builder and Python automation where appropriate.
  • Administer and support ArcGIS Enterprise, including Portal for ArcGIS, hosted services, web maps, web applications, user management, content management, and security.
  • Publish, maintain, and optimize feature services, map services, imagery services, and enterprise GIS applications.
  • Develop scalable GIS workflows that improve automation, data quality, operational efficiency, and repeatability.
  • Perform spatial analysis and create high-quality geospatial products to support mission planning and decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot ArcGIS Pro, Portal, Enterprise, and GIS application issues.
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, system administrators, and mission stakeholders to design and implement effective geospatial solutions.
  • Document GIS workflows, technical procedures, and best practices.
ESRI Technology Focus

In addition to day-to-day GIS support, this position is expected to:

  • Serve as the team's primary technical resource for ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Portal for ArcGIS.
  • Continuously evaluate new ESRI products, software releases, and platform capabilities to identify opportunities for improving mission support and operational efficiency.
  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts using emerging ESRI technologies.
  • Recommend enhancements to existing GIS workflows based on new product capabilities and industry best practices.
  • Stay current through ESRI conferences, webinars, training, technical blogs, user communities, and professional certifications.
  • Share knowledge with teammates by demonstrating new capabilities, documenting recommended practices, and providing technical guidance when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with other technical staff to integrate new GIS capabilities into existing applications and workflows.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of professional GIS experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with ArcGIS Pro.
  • Experience administering or supporting ArcGIS Enterprise and Portal for ArcGIS.
