Tech PM Opportunity

Hybrid in McLean, VA

Our client seeks a Tech PM to support a knowledge management team that produces product documentation, operating manuals, and software operation instructions. The role will coordinate daily standups, orchestrate documentation delivery, and drive program operations across a broad technical toolset. The contractor will facilitate stakeholder reviews and signoffs, manage weekly milestones and touchpoints, and contribute to product execution supporting documentation systems.

The work environment is collaborative and fast paced, with emphasis on clear, structured communication and agile delivery.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. For our W2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $35.00 to $40.00/hr w2

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and orchestrate delivery of product documentation and operating manuals.
• Lead daily standups for a team of approximately 25 and manage weekly milestones and touchpoints.
• Drive program management of agile ceremonies and support product execution for documentation tooling.
• Ensure stakeholder reviews and signoffs are completed on schedule.
• Partner closely with leadership, including Laura and a senior manager, to align execution and outcomes.
• Engage across a wide technical scope and interact with numerous tools.

Experience Requirements:

• Ability to work independently with proactive ownership and structured follow-through.
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant program or project management experience.
• Clear, organized communication with strong documentation and recording practices.
• Comfort with technical discussions and terminology.
• Background or knowledge in software development concepts including SDLC, APIs, data exchange, databases, and ETL.
• Familiarity with generative AI concepts and related technical language.
• Experience leading agile ceremonies and core PM responsibilities.
• Experience in knowledge management, technical writing, information architecture, or content production is beneficial.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
