About the Team Capital One’s Customer Data Product team is building a data destination of platforms, products, and processes that is well-managed and easy to govern, and where data is easy to find, understand, and use to enable real-time intelligent experiences. We excel in building, and supporting adoption of, scalable data tools and products as we build towards a modern, real-time, data environment.

The Senior Manager, Product Manager for the  Customer Data Product team plays a critical people leadership role in achieving our goals. This individual will lead and mentor a team of product managers in developing our universe of data products, including helping customers in moments that matter. Our data ecosystem plays a critical role in improving customer experience by enabling real-time, intelligent updates to unlock capabilities that will protect our customers from fraudulent activity and create quicker access to their funds by accelerating the response time.

This role is crucial for transforming the data experience for all of our customer personas across Small Business Bank and will play a leading role in shaping local and partner roadmaps as we define shared capabilities that can be scaled across our line of business, and  this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management:

Basic Qualifications:

* Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
+ A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing OR
* Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 4 years of Product Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience translating business and/or data strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
* Deep understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and data lifecycle management
* Experience with large-scale data platforms, data warehousing, data lakes, or real-time data streaming technologies
