Job Description Janus Soft is seeking an elite Systems Engineer / Oracle Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure high-performance database and systems infrastructure in support of national security initiatives. In this role, you will maintain robust Oracle Linux environments, administer high-throughput Oracle Exadata platforms, and ensure high availability across security-controlled architectures. As a vital technical asset, you will support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) workflows, collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams, and handle sensitive data with high discretion to drive mission success.
MandatorySkills
Clearance:
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
Certifications:
Active Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator certification.
Oracle Linux Administration:
Proven experience serving as an Oracle Linux Systems Administrator within complex enterprise environments.
Oracle Exadata:
Hands-on experience in Oracle Exadata administration, system maintenance, and performance optimization.
Oracle Exadata Database Machine Certified Implementation Specialist certification.
Deep experience with broader Linux systems engineering and enterprise administration.
Demonstrated familiarity with the Sponsor’s security-controlled systems, data architecture, and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.
Proven track record handling highly sensitive data with discretion, sound technical judgment, and mission-first execution.
Adaptable team player with experience cross-skilling and back filling teammates to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
