Job Description Janus Soft is seeking an elite Data Architect to drive mission-critical data acquisition, exploitation, engineering, and management initiatives. In this role, you will architect, engineer, and optimize robust data systems alongside a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, software developers, security experts, and data scientists. You will serve as a vital technical leader across organizational boundaries, collaborating directly with Customer staff, contractor teams, and external stakeholders to deliver scalable data architectures that directly impact national security missions.

• Clearance:
  Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Cloud & Infrastructure:
  Proven experience architecting cloud infrastructure and managing enterprise data in AWS environments.
• Development & Big Data Stack:
  Hands-on expertise in AWS, Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL, and No
  
  SQL technologies.
• Data Engineering & ETL:
  Demonstrated experience building, executing, and scaling ETL pipelines, as well as integrating data flows with industry-standard systems (e.g., Niagra Falls).
• Programming:
  Advanced proficiency with Python for data processing and pipeline development.
• OS Environments:
  Cross-platform experience across Linux, Windows, and MacOS.
• Professional Attributes:
  Proactive, independent problem-solver capable of thriving in fast-paced environments with strong verbal and written communication skills tailored for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Hands-on experience with targeting workflows, tools, and mission environments.
• Practical exposure to modern AI solutions, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with graph database platforms such as Neo4J.
• Operational background supporting hard target mission areas.
