A leading national law firm with more than 40 offices and a full‑service practice seeks a 3–4 year Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to handle sophisticated disputes for clients across diverse industries nationwide. Key Responsibilities- Analyze and research sophisticated legal issues across complex commercial disputes
- Draft and edit briefs for state and federal court motions, including dispositive motions
- Support and participate in trials, evidentiary hearings, and key court appearances
- Take and defend depositions, including witness preparation and exhibit strategy
- Assist with overall case strategy, including early case assessments and litigation planning
- Help manage discovery, including written discovery planning and document strategy
- Work closely with partners and senior litigators while owning discrete work streams
- Coordinate deadlines and deliver high‑quality work product under pressure
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to drive case milestones forward
- 3–4 years of commercial litigation experience
- Experience drafting or supporting motions to dismiss and summary judgment briefing
- Experience with class certification issues (briefing or analysis) strongly valued
- Trial and deposition experience preferred (taking/defending depositions is a plus)
- Strong legal research, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a detail‑oriented approach
- JD degree from an accredited law school
- Ability to manage multiple matters and prioritize effectively
