Associate Attorney

We are a well‑established, mid‑sized firm specializing in real estate and contract law, seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven legal professional interested in litigation, negotiations, and dispute resolution within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will assist with a broad range of real estate matters, contract drafting and review, dispute resolution, and client advisory services. Our practice offers hands‑on experience representing clients in proceedings, negotiating agreements, and providing practical legal guidance on business and property‑related transactions.

• Spend the majority of the workday appearing in court, handling hearings, motions, and related proceedings
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
• Advise clients on business and legal matters
• Negotiate settlements in contested matters and dispute resolution proceedings
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legal standards, court rules, and regulations
• Perform administrative and case management functions related to the practice of law

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in good standing
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great personality, but a good personality will do too. We want to work with someone nice and fun
• DC Bar required, additional VA or MD membership(s), in addition to DC preferred, but not required
