StateVA### DescriptionA busy family in McLean is looking to hire a proactive, detail-oriented, and dependable Household Manager to help keep their home organized and running smoothly while also providing afternoon support with their 6-month-old from approximately 3:00–6:00 PM. Household responsibilities will include loading and unloading the dishwasher, handling laundry for the children and Dad, cleaning baby bottles, managing household inventory across the refrigerator, freezer, pantry, and other supplies, assisting with returns and dry cleaning, and helping with trash and recycling, including breaking down cardboard and moving bins to and from the street.

This role includes providing assistance with small household needs such as replacing light bulbs and will coordinate recurring and one-off contractors, including spring and fall HVAC maintenance, generator servicing, biweekly household cleaning, and other home maintenance appointments as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, comfortable juggling a variety of household responsibilities, and able to take initiative to ensure both the home and family’s day-to-day needs are well supported.
