Senior Manager, Project Manager - Credit Talent Strategy

The Credit, Data, and Modeling Culture and Community team is responsible for a wide range of community and culture building processes and events that aim to advance the culture and talent in some of the communities most core to what we do at Capital One. We are seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Program Manager to lead our credit talent strategy work.

This role will be critical in helping us turn some of the processes that we own today into points of strategic advantage and help build solutions that address the biggest problem statements within the credit community. In this role you will be instrumental in establishing, maturing, and maintaining the talent management best practices and processes that drive our Credit Community.

Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior stakeholders in the credit community to understand the biggest challenges/problem statements we have in developing and managing our credit talent.
  • Partner with delivery stakeholders to set direction and vision for a multi channel approach to addressing those challenges and driving improvements through training and events.
  • Transform our BAU accreditation and talent management processes to provide additional support and value for understanding, tracking and managing the pipeline of credit talent.
  • Serve as the primary bridge between all stakeholders as it relates to our credit talent strategy.
  • Oversee key credit talent management processes, ensuring they are executed timely and in a well managed manner.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience.
  • At Least 5 years of experience in portfolio or program management at the enterprise level.
  • At least 2 years of people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years leading program management for organizations that exceed 100 people.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • 3+ years of gathering, analyzing, and reporting on data using Google Suite.
  • PMP, CMP, Change management experience.

McLean, VA: $177,700 - $202,800 for Sr Manager, Project Management. Richmond, VA: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr Manager, Project Management.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
