Job Description:
The Program Manager is responsible for contract personnel management and oversight of the financial aspects of program execution; is the point of contact for these aspects of program execution, and ensures all personnel associated with the program are effectively supporting customer needs. The Contract Program manager facilitates the development of monthly Contract Deliverables (CDRLS) and financial reporting. Responsibilities also include weekly reviews of the contract’s staffing status to include sourcing for new labor requirements or back filling for vacant positions.
Candidate is a leader who is expected to be detailed oriented, organized, proactive, demonstrate good judgement, and skilled at developing Customer relationships and development, performance evaluation and merit increases or bonuses of GDIT employees on the program.
- Overseeing the fulfillment of personnel resource requirements and financial reporting aspects of contract deliverables to achieve all key contract staffing and financial performance indicators.
- Preparing, organizing, and managing a monthly Program Management Review for the customer.
- Collaborating with other members of the team to ensure that all work performed is of high quality and meets the customers’ needs within funding, scheduling, and staffing constraints.
- Offboarding contract personnel who are not performing to the customer’s standards and back filling those positions.
- Onboarding new GDIT employees to the program
- Securing and managing an exceptional team/staff, maintaining high levels of staff retention, and ensuring exceptional customer relationship management.
- Experience managing Cost Plus Award Fee, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, and Time and Materials contract types.
- College Degree (BA/BS or higher) or five years of technical experience serving as a contract management lead with increasing responsibilities on projects of similar scope.
- Experience managing subcontractors to backfill positions, track timesheets and financial oversight as it pertains to CDRLS.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required for effective interface with internal and external customers.
- A minimum of five years serving as a Program Manager leading teams over 20 FTE and financial responsibility over $10 million annually on CPAF and CPFF contract types.
- Experience developing proposals in response to Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
- Experience developing a Cost Plus Award Fee Self-Assessments

The likely salary range for this position is $158,855 - $214,921. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
