As a Facilities Project Manager for the CIA, you will provide tailored facilities services for internal Agency customers. Facilities Project Managers plan, schedule, and manage construction and renovation projects to meet customer requirements. You will be responsible for creating safe, secure, and functional work environments to support the Agency's global intelligence mission.
Facilities Project Managers define facilities projects and participate in the following actions related to architectural, civil, electrical, mechanical, and monitoring systems including: project planning; developing Statements of Work and estimates; project implementation; monitoring cost, schedules, and performance; managing customer expectations; advising of potential risks; construction management; and performing quality assurance. You will also be expected to perform general administrative duties, maintain current project management job knowledge, and obtain appropriate certifications.
Facilities Project Managers are also responsible for multiple facilities project management activities throughout the life of a project. Based on assignment, you may lead team members and contractors, travel domestically or overseas, and partake in sensitive and high visibility activities to achieve the project objectives and customer requirements. Officers may also participate in the management of building support services and property management issues for Agency facilities or participate in procurement activities in coordination with the assigned contracting officer.

Some Facilities Project Manager positions focus on technical projects and/or services, to include the coordinated application of general and specialized technical engineering knowledge, skills, expertise, and practices. In order to qualify for any associated pay incentives connected to these positions, a STEM degree (as certified by Talent Center) is required.
