Position OverviewWe are looking for an accomplished strategic leader who excels at operational management, staff mentoring and development, and budget development, management and forecasting. Freddie Mac's McLean corporate headquarters is home to a diverse population of more than 7,000 people across five buildings on a 33-acre campus. This position will define the approach to providing services for five regional office locations.
If you have a proven background in corporate hospitality and amenities, you will join a customer-focused environment with opportunities to influence the future of food, fitness, reprographics and mail room amenities. You will lead the strategy and execution of long-range goals for services and be responsible for a multi-million annual budget.

Your Impact Strategy, Budget Management and Reporting- Establish and assure adherence to budgets, forecasting, work plans and performance requirements
- Manage complex project plans, from project case development and justification to after-action review
- Demonstrate understanding of business requirements, issues and risks associated with services and systems
- Ensure projects are on time and on budget
- Responsible for the timely resolution of all issues impacting service delivery, whether technical, business or vendor related
- Develop and maintain accurate reporting on vendor performance and customer satisfaction
- Build and inspire a high-performing team that delivers on the strategic vision
- Act as a role model for positive, forward-thinking attitudes
- Ensure the team is operating in the most effective manner and has the appropriate skills and capabilities to be successful
- Motivate direct reports, provide constructive feedback and identify development opportunities
- Establish operational objectives and work plans, delegating work appropriately
- Drive continuous improvement through tools, technology, process and people
- Build and define overall outsourcing objectives for amenities: food service, fitness, mail and reprographics
- Lead the RFP vendor selection and qualification process
- Provide oversight of supplier performance; monitor key performance indicators and address vendor performance issues
- Partner with internal teams to identify and manage risk and associated mitigation plans
- Build and maintain outsourcing/vendor oversight standards
- Oversee all purchase orders, invoices and anticipated vendor accruals and forecasts
- Oversee and responsibility for applications and technology supporting all services
- Establish, maintain and improve amenity and business services programs, processes and policies to ensure alignment with company strategies
- Forge effective relationships to provide guidance and direction so deliverables align with customer quality expectations
- Viewed as an advisor to leadership, negotiating change across the direct area of responsibility, aligned with business needs
- Guide customers and business partners to translate their needs into actionable, practical solutions that align with corporate policy and objectives
- Partner with peers in the Corporate Services department to develop future solutions and enhancements to programs and services
- 10+ years of experience in outsourced food service and amenity operations for a highly complex organization
- 8+ years of leadership, organization and management experience
- 5+ years of experience managing a multi-million-dollar annualized budget
- Bachelor’s Degree or Certification in Hospitality-related field or equivalent expertise
