Risk Manager/Analyst
Freddie Mac’s Enterprise Risk Management Division seeks a Governance and Board Reporting Senior whose primary responsibility is to manage and govern the monthly/quarterly reporting for senior leadership, the Enterprise Risk Committee, Board of Directors, and FHFA.
Position OverviewThe role serves as a liaison to other divisions and ensures accurate, timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Our ImpactThe team manages reporting risk, including data sourcing, database and technology management, metric creation, report design, and cross‑Enterprise collaboration.
Your Impact- Support issuance of the Risk Report
- Oversee and maintain the Risk Report SQL database and other related databases for report automation
- Partner with first and second line data providers on metric design, data upload, commentary review, and process guidance
- Monitor and resolve data discrepancies
- Develop and provide regular status reporting and tracking
- Support quarterly board reporting and governance process
- Review agenda and distribute guidance and deliverable timelines
- Maintain agenda topic governance tracker, including division risk committees
- Collaborate across divisions on meeting deliverable timelines, material questions, and lessons learned
- Review materials submitted for governance and ensure legal requirements are met
- Perform other departmental duties as assigned
- College degree and 5+ years of experience (or equivalent)
- Understanding of risk management, reporting, and governance
- Knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, and SharePoint;
Python preferred - Data management experience
- Strong program and project management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication

- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships at all levels across the enterprise
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities within tight time frames
Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and market‑leading benefit programs. The annualized market‑based salary range for this position is $101,000–$151,000 and the role is eligible for an annual incentive program.
