This is your chance to be part of an award-winning in-house Communications Team! As a Senior Director, Corporate Reputation, you will play a critical role in protecting and strengthening Hilton's reputation by preparing for, managing, and responding to global issues that may affect Hilton's business. On the Global Communications team reporting to Vice President, Corporate Communications, you will lead enterprise-wide issues management communications, ensuring coordinated governance, proactive readiness, and effective response across a global, matrixed organization.

You also will help shape the organization's proactive strategy on corporate reputation, leading both measurement and communications management in a fast-moving issues environment.

** What you'll do during a typical day:*
* + Lead the enterprise-wide crisis communications strategy to protect Hilton's reputation across global markets and functions.

+ Expand crisis communications readiness capabilities, ensuring the organization is prepared to effectively respond to emerging issues and high-risk scenarios.

+ Oversee coordinated above-property crisis and issues response, collaborating with a cross-functional team to ensure alignment, speed, and consistency of messaging across regions and corporate functions.

+ Oversee reputation research and strategy development to help inform Hilton's positions on key issues of interest to external stakeholders.

+ Engage with top-tier global media as a Hilton spokesperson on sensitive topics and real-time incidents.

+ Expand capabilities for oversight of and coordination on social media issues across the Communications and Marketing teams.

+ Enhance and strengthen governance frameworks that enable clear decision-making and accountability during crisis situations.

** How you'll collaborate with others:*
* + Partner across a global, matrixed organization-including regional communications teams, Sustainability and Responsible Business, Government Affairs, Human Resources, Legal, Safety and Security, Marketing, and others
-to ensure aligned and effective issues communications planning and execution.

+ Establish enterprise-wide coordination mechanisms to support consistent crisis response and communication standards.

+ Act as real-time counsel and support for colleagues across the Corporate Affairs team.

+ Lead and develop a team, fostering strong team performance and alignment with enterprise priorities.

+ Partner with trade groups to support industry communications and advocacy efforts.

** Projects you'll take ownership of:*
* + Identify opportunities to proactively support regional communications teams with multi-property/multi-regional issues to improve global coordination and response.

+ Oversee ongoing updates to Hilton's playbook for issues response, including identifying and developing new communications protocols to stay ahead of emerging technologies/AI.

+ Lead updated issues analysis to identify communication preparedness gaps and strengthen mitigation strategies.

+ Lead research that analyzes Hilton's corporate reputation and supports the development of key platforms to help strengthen Hilton's reputation.

+ Deliver regional and corporate issues communications training to address any gaps in organizational capability and readiness.

+ Advance proactive crisis capability building to enhance Hilton's ability to anticipate, manage, and respond to reputational risks before they materialize.

** What It Takes to Make the Stay*
* ** You have these minimum qualifications:*
* + At least ten (10) years of work experience in Issues Communications, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or related field within a corporate or agency environment.

+ Three (3) years of experience leading teams, including direct people management and/or leading through influence in a matrixed organization.

+ Three (3) years of experience managing crisis communications or high-risk reputational issues for a global organization or customer-facing brand.

+ Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal communications skills, including influencing and collaboration.

+ Professional experience working in a global, corporate, matrixed environment.

+ Demonstrated experience developing and implementing crisis preparedness frameworks, governance models, or response protocols.

+ Demonstrated experience as a media spokesperson with top-tier media, including established media relationships

+ Availability to work outside of typical business hours

+ Discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information

+ Travel up to 25%.
