Job Description:
The Customer Compliance Management group in the Multifamily Division is seeking an Audit and Eligibility Manager to identify and mitigate exposure to financial and operational risks associated with approved counter parties. The successful candidate will collaborate with various business areas and interact with senior personnel of Seller/Servicers to ensure business is conducted with reputable and stable firms.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate credit risks of existing and proposed Multifamily Seller/Servicers.
- Manage the Annual Certification process for all Seller/Servicers.
- Implement adverse actions to mitigate unacceptable counter party risks.
- Oversee the application process for Seller/Servicer applicants.
- Review Work Papers and Approval Letters.
- Track and resolve action items, issues, and risks related to counter parties.
- Review and approve organizational changes and special requests, such as acquisitions and servicing transfers.
Audit Responsibilities:
- Conduct annual Risk Analysis of the Seller/Servicer network.
- Develop and assign the Seller/Servicer Audit Schedule.
- Manage audit teams to ensure timely and accurate audits.
- Perform Quality Control Reviews.
- Communicate audit results to Senior Management and Seller/Servicers.
- Update audit programs and checklists in line with industry standards.
- Identify gaps between the Seller/Servicer Guide and industry best practices.
- Oversee vendor support for audit and eligibility teams, including contract negotiations.
Skills and Certifications:
- CPA

- Do you have at least 7 years of experience in an audit role?
- Have you worked on audits in the mortgage or commercial real estate industry?
Ideal Candidate:
Big 4 CPA Manager or Manager at a large financial services firm with experience in multifamily or commercial real estate audits.
Preferred employers include Big 4 firms, consulting firms, and financial service firms specializing in multifamily or commercial real estate.
