About the team:
The Strategy & Operations (S&O) PMO manages the front-end lifecycle of the Enterprise Tech Backlog (ETB) process for Bank Tech—specifically the intake, evaluation, grooming, and strategic distribution of tech initiatives. The PMO ensures that the right work is prioritized and that leadership has full visibility into progress through executive-level reporting.
In this role, you will lead the strategic coordination of tech intent, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to ensure backlog items are well defined and appropriately routed for delivery. You will be responsible for translating complex technical data into clear narratives for senior leadership, driving transparency and informed decision making through high impact reporting. Beyond external project coordination, this role is critical in maintaining the team's internal operational health;
you will establish and uphold team norms, refine operating processes, and drive internal accountability within the PMO to ensure our team operates efficiently and delivers maximum value to our delivery partners and customers.
General Responsibilities :
- Work on large and small scale projects that have a direct impact on the company.
- Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed
- Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation.
- Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation
- Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
- Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
- Identify ways to improve and streamline business process
- Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work
- Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
- Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands
- Display strong consulting and collaboration skills
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
- 6+ years of Project Management experience
- PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
- 1+ year of experience working in Enterprise Technology Programs
- 1+ year of experience identifying, assessing, and managing technology risk
- 1+ year of experience in communications planning and development
- 1+ year of Continual Improvement experience
