MITRE currently has a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) opportunity in the MITRE Technology and Engineering (MTE) business unit. In this role, you will be expected to work collaboratively and in a consultative fashion to effectively align workforce strategies and practices with business objectives. We seek dynamic HR practitioners who can lead talent management initiatives, foster continuous improvement, and cultivate strong partnerships within MITRE.

MITRE Technology & Engineering drives mission impact by delivering nation-leading, differentiated capabilities to a rich set of consequential national programs across the six Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) that MITRE leads. Our goal is to develop solutions and deliver outcomes for our sponsors, to ensure the security, health, and prosperity of the American public. MITRE Technology & Engineering applies the expertise of technical staff and subject matter experts across our programs by fostering and developing technical talent, stewarding technical depth, conceiving and executing research, and ensuring MITRE's capabilities, people, methods, labs, platforms, and environments remain on the leading edge.

Roles & Responsibilities :

* Serve as a trusted business partner and coach to employees and all levels of leaders from front-line management to executives.

* Partner with leadership to understand business needs and provide HR insights to develop and drive people-related outcomes.

* Collaborate closely with leaders and employees to implement HR programs including talent reviews and succession planning, workforce planning, compensation planning, performance management, actioning employee survey data, and internal processes and policies.

* Lead or collaborate on organizational design strategy and change management initiatives to drive alignment across the organization.

* Use business knowledge and metrics data to identify trends and develop appropriate actions.
