Sr. Associate, Experimentation Project Manager | Retail Bank Marketing
The OpportunityWe are seeking a passionate and data-driven Experimentation Project Manager to join our dynamic Retail Bank Marketing team. In our fast‑paced marketing environment, teams across all channels are eager to leverage data to drive decisions. This role will be the central hub for our entire marketing experimentation program, serving as a primary subject matter expert and cross‑functional collaborator.
Our goal is to establish experimentation as a cornerstone of our marketing strategy. This individual will be the steward of that mission, building the processes and roadmap necessary for success. More importantly, this role will be the chief storyteller, responsible for delivering the narrative of our learnings. You will synthesize results from across the marketing landscape to answer critical questions:
What have we done? What’s working and what’s not? And most importantly, how will these learnings evolve our strategy as we move forward? If you are a strategic thinker with a talent for translating data into an actionable roadmap, this is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact.
- Partner on Marketing Experiments: Serve as a dedicated partner for channel and campaign strategy teams, providing hands‑on support throughout the experimentation lifecycle, from ideation and planning to initial results analysis.
- Manage the Experimentation
Roadmap:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive and detailed roadmap of all experiments across marketing, ensuring visibility into test pipelines, active tests, and their alignment with larger strategic initiatives. - Guide the Experimentation Lifecycle: Shepherd marketing tests from hypothesis to conclusion. This includes consulting on test design, ensuring proper setup and instrumentation, coordinating with cross‑functional partners (Analytics, Tech, Creative), and validating results.
- Develop and Deliver the Strategic Narrative: Go beyond reporting on individual test results. You will synthesize cross‑channel learnings to create and deliver the overarching narrative of our experimentation program—what we’ve tested, which goals these tests support, what’s working, and how these insights will directly inform our future marketing strategy.
- Empower Teams with Actionable Intelligence: A primary focus of this role is to close the learning loop by getting critical insights back into the hands of the marketing teams. You will develop and manage a system for socializing learnings (e.g., knowledge base, regular readouts, case studies) to ensure insights are understood, adopted, and integrated into the planning process.
- Drive Strategic Alignment: Maintain a deep understanding of not only individual test details but also the broader business goals they support, helping to connect the dots between tactical experiments and strategic objectives.
- At least 2 years of experience in a marketing, analytics, or project management role.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, or other experimentation methodologies.
- At least 2 years of communication or stakeholder management responsibilities.
- 2+ years working in the financial services or banking industry.
- 3+ years of experience with experimentation platforms and analytics tools (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics).
- 3+ years of experience working with the principles of experimental design, statistical significance, confidence intervals, or hypothesis testing.
- 3+ years of experience developing and presenting strategic narratives to diverse marketing audiences.
- 3+ years of experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in a cross‑functional environment.
