Position Overview

Our Virginia brokerage team is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join its high‑paced environment. The candidate must be highly motivated with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to create cohesive, well‑designed marketing deliverables. A focus on complete project ownership and management is critical. The Marketing Coordinator will also support online marketing efforts and new technology initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Assist brokers with implementation of property marketing strategies and advertising campaigns.
  • Work closely with brokers and corporate PR to promote the team and deals in press and social media.
  • Create, schedule, and execute digital marketing strategy such as property eblasts.
  • Work with brokers and other Avison Young teams to prepare presentations, market research, Requests for Proposal (RFP) responses, reports, and other client deliverables.
  • Work with brokers and other Avison Young teams to design proposals, presentations, and marketing materials, including e‑blasts, flyers, floor plans, maps, postcards, boards, and signage using Avison Young branded templates.
  • Maintain brand consistency in line with global corporate standards.
  • Track ongoing marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare marketing budgets and track related expenses for assignments.
  • Coordinate on‑site events for clients and the brokerage community and execute marketing campaigns, create invitations, and manage RSVP lists.
  • Assist with web listing updates and other web‑based property and team marketing.
  • Update contacts and internal CRM as needed.
  • Other special projects and reasonable duties may be added as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, writing, grammar, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning skills; knowledge of financial terms and principles is a plus.
  • Prior commercial real estate experience preferred.
