The Creative Consultant serves as the liaison between the Account Managers, Sales Reps and DesignIQ creative teams in developing high-quality, results-driven creative solutions for all USA Today Co. advertising platforms.
Duties will include:
- Own the process of receiving, modifying and uploading creative assets, including communication between the sales team and designers.
- Monitor ATOL and Salesforce status queues for materials. Review design quality and provide feedback during and after the work has been completed to satisfaction. Review proofs to ensure quality and accuracy on every proof.
- Monitor digital orders for material compliance. Provide daily notification of at‑risk ads due to missing instructions, creative and approvals. Ensure all jobs are completed and routed to the correct platform for publication.
This role is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop skills in multiple areas within the advertising industry. Some graphic design experience is beneficial but not required. The capacity and organizational skills to coordinate and execute a high volume of tasks is also a must. The role also requires the ability to multitask and work within strict deadlines.
Responsibilities- Generate clear layouts, provide style examples, assemble needed materials and upload materials to ATOL in a timely manner following proper workflow procedures.
- Work directly with Sales, DesignIQ creative team, and Post‑Sales departments to ensure all products across all platforms are fulfilled within the timeline required with quality and accurate creative.
- Communicate with Sales/Account Managers on all ad production matters, including but not limited to deadlines, material needs, ad copy, proofs and corrections.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
- Possesses strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Adobe suite or graphic design experience is a plus.
The annualized base salary for this role will range between $40,000.00 to $50,000.00. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
