Vinson Hall (VH), a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community located in McLean, VA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our Healthcare team on an as-needed basis. Vinson Hall is recognized for delivering exceptional care and services to older adults across a full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing.

This position will primarily support our Healthcare/Skilled Nursing setting, while also providing supervision and clinical support across other departments within the community as needed.
The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, supporting resident care needs, responding to clinical concerns, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and confident in providing leadership in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

* Current RN license in the state of Virginia
* Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, assisted living, or a skilled nursing facility.
* At least 1 year of supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred.
* Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
* Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
* CPR/BLS certification required.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care
* Provide clinical oversight and guidance in a skilled nursing/healthcare setting
* Assess resident conditions and respond to changes in health status
* Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and care plans
* Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
* Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
* Assist with care planning and resident assessments
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and incidents
* Support staff training, mentoring, and performance management
* Promote a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment
