Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
- Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
- Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
- Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
- Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
- Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
7p-7a shift including every other weekend and rotational holidays.
Incentives & Compensation- New Grad sign‑on bonus: $5,000
- 1-2 years RN experience sign‑on bonus: $13,000
- 3-4 years RN experience sign‑on bonus: $15,000
- 5+ years RN experience sign‑on bonus: $20,000
- Weekend differential: shift differential for qualifying hours between 3pm-7am
- Weekend option days: WEO rates + weekend differential
- Weekend option nights: WEO rates + weekend differential + straight night shift differential
- New increased weekend option differential: $10.00
- Up to $20,000 loan forgiveness for new grad nurses
- Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per year

- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Physical requirements:
push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis; prolonged standing and walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
Unit 3C is a surgical unit which focuses on adult post‑operative orthopedic traumas and neurosurgery. Here you will develop excellent critical thinking and assessment skills as well as use a wide variety of clinical skills.
