Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for an Efficiency Lead in our Intel Sector Analysis Solutions Business Area (ASBA) in McLean, VA. Our talented team is at the forefront in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. Joining the team gives you the chance to help shape analysis solutions across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance
    • Collaborate with Program Manager, Task Leads, and Government counterparts to align CPI and Risk initiatives with mission priorities.
    • Develop a center-wide QMS that includes Continuous Process Improvement, Risk Management, and Quality Control.
    • Implement and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management Plan aligned with contract requirements and IC analytic tradecraft standards.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and standards; support audits and use automated compliance tools.
    • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators, SLAs, and quality metrics using dashboards and data visualization.
    • Prepare and present regular quality and efficiency reports to contract leadership and Government stakeholders.
  • Continuous Process Improvement (CPI)
    • Facilitate strategic positioning assessments using tools such as SWOT, SOAR, NOISE to align resources with program needs.
    • Collect feedback, award fee reports, customer comments, and conduct root cause analyses to capture lessons learned.
    • Identify potential CPI tasks, quantify resources, and assess impact using data analytics.
    • Brief program leadership on the CPI list for disposition and prioritization.
    • Design and lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce error rates, and streamline workflows with automation and AI.
    • Collect baseline and post‑implementation performance measures to quantify improvements.
  • Risk Management
    • Design and execute a risk management framework, including identification, scoring, and monitoring.
    • Facilitate risk review meetings and capture risks via digital platforms.
    • Support external risk reporting in required documents using automated tools.
    • Integrate risk mitigation with CPI activities.
  • Quality Control (QC)
    • Oversee the development of task‑area QC processes and incorporate automation tools.
    • Document product review processes for delivered products and validate effectiveness.
    • Review and evaluate analytic and operational products for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
    • Develop predictive monitoring methods to detect degrading quality.
    • Provide feedback and coaching to staff.
    • Support collection and analysis of performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
    Master's preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in quality assurance, process improvement, or analytic tradecraft in national security or government contracting.
  • Experience developing and managing QA/QC programs and continuous improvement initiatives, using automation, AI, and technology.
  • Experience in risk management in dynamic environments.
  • Proven ability to track and analyze performance metrics, SLAs, and quality indicators with dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Experience with digital collaboration platforms, workflow management, and technology‑enabled communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, leveraging data and technology for decisions and corrective actions.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes, classified environment.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (Full Scope Polygraph preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with analytic automation, AI/ML, or data science quality programs.
  • Knowledge of IC analytic tradecraft standards, ODNI/NCTC policies, and federal compliance requirements.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, or similar process improvement certification with application experience.
  • Experience supporting ODNI, NCTC, or other IC agencies.
  • Experience on large‑scale staffing or staff augmentation programs with surge dynamics.
  • Professional certification in instructional design or training management with technology‑enabled delivery.
  • Full Scope Polygraph preferred.
