Operations Research Analyst
The OpportunityAs an operations analyst, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. You’ll help us solve complex problems for our clients by evaluating United States Air Force capabilities.
Responsibilities• Work alongside a team to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret performance needs of various capabilities.
• Document findings and develop results for presentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in program meetings to improve program efficiency.
• Use analytics and statistics to devise modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, and operational mathematics techniques.
- 4+ years of experience with Operations Research Analysis, Data Science, or mathematical or analytic methodologies
- Experience developing analytic methodologies, metrics, and decision criteria
- Experience leveraging scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses
- Experience preparing and presenting information to communicate assessment findings
- Experience with R, Python, SQL, or related software programs that analyze data
- Experience collaborating with other analysts in an integrated development environment
- Experience with survey design or analysis and interview techniques
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Systems Analysis, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
- Experience with decision models, nodal or flow modeling, or trending and forecasting
- Experience with code repositories, data and information management
- Experience with wargaming, simulation, or geospatial analysis
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Master’s degree in Operations Research, Data Science, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics

Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $69,300.00 to $ (annualized USD). Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs.
