Store Manager
Reports to:
District Manager. Responsible for leading daily operations, sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, brand representation, and team development.
As the Store Manager, you will lead a single store, ensuring all sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, brand representation, and team member growth align with corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales and profit through personal selling, coaching, and effective store operations.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience by training staff, managing customer outreach, and addressing issues.
- Implement corporate initiatives, marketing, and merchandising plans.
- Oversee inventory control, visual merchandising, and store aesthetics.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, onboarding, and career growth.
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and inclusive workplace.
- Analyze sales reports, identify trends, and develop action plans.
- Collaborate with district and local Signet stores for shared objectives and resources.
- Minimum 2 years of college education (preferred).
- At least 3 years retail sales experience, or 2 years retail sales and 1 year retail management (preferred).
- Experience in specialty retail or jewelry highly preferred.
- Diamond Council of America (DCA) certification is a plus.
- Advanced communication skills and proficiency with MS Office and business technology tools.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, problem solving, conflict resolution, and time‑management skills.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Regular standing, reaching, and handling merchandise up to 10 pounds; occasional travel for training.
CompensationBase salary: $50,000 – $67,800 plus commission on sales. Final pay rate determined by experience and qualifications.
