Club Fitter - Golfdom

The Cool Clubs Fitter at Golfdom is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the "Sure No Problem" philosophy, which has made Worldwide Golf what it is today. "Sure No Problem" means putting the customer first, and doing whatever we can to ensure a memorable and positive customer experience.

The Cool Clubs Fitter is responsible for performing golf club fittings and related assignments for a wide range of players including high handicap customers, better playing amateurs, VIP guests, and tour players.

• Demonstrate excellent customer service, keeping in mind that the customer’s last phase of their shopping experience is with the cashier.
• Process information and merchandise through computer and POS register system.
• Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance and merchandise replenishment as needed.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
• Ownership of all aspects of the club fitting process (customer service, technology, sales, etc.)
• Fit all customers using the good/better/best fitting process and make proper club recommendations.
• Accurately document all fitting information in fitting software.

• Remain in contact with customers during the build process when necessary.
• Collaborate with builders on fitting/building challenges.
• Address customer concerns and resolve them promptly to the customers satisfaction.

• Fluently understand order tracking system.
• Enter all orders and pertinent information into order tracking system upon placing an order.
• Provide order updates to customers as needed.
• Update system as needed (pick-ups, notes, etc.).

• Loft and Lie adjustments for customers.
• Re-gripping clubs for store customers when able.
• Assist build shop with lite club repair when able.

• Greet customers who enter the store.
• Answer phones and manage personal voicemail box.
• Book fittings and help manage fitting calendar.
• Help Customer Service Rep manage pick‑up closet.
• Assist with general cleanliness of the store.

• Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge by learning about new technologies and products.
• Keep individual desk clean and organized.
• Utilize all safety protocols and equipment as set forth by the employee handbook and company policy’s.

• Knowledge of golf equipment and shafts.
• Understanding of ideal golf ball launch characteristics.
• General knowledge of club repair.
• Proficient computer skills in the following
  • Microsoft Office
  • POS Experience

• Experience with Track Man or similar launch monitor technology.
