The Cool Clubs Fitter at Golfdom promotes and maintains a store culture that aligns with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy, which places the customer first and ensures a memorable experience. The role involves performing golf club fittings for a wide range of players, supporting store operations, and maintaining high product knowledge.
- General Responsibilities
Demonstrate excellent customer service, process information and merchandise through computer and POS systems, assist with floor moves and housekeeping as needed, improve processes once fully trained, and perform any other duties as assigned by management. - Club Fitting
Own all aspects of the fitting process (customer service, technology, sales, etc.), fit customers using the good/better/best process and recommend proper clubs, and accurately document all fitting information in the fitting software. - Follow Through
Remain in contact with customers during the build process when necessary, collaborate with builders on fitting/building challenges, and address customer concerns promptly for customer satisfaction. - Order Tracking
Fluently understand the order tracking system, enter all orders into the system upon placement, provide order updates to customers as needed, and update the system for pick‑ups and notes. - Club Repair
Perform loft and lie adjustments, re‑grip clubs for store customers when able, and assist the build shop with light club repair when able. - Front of House
Greet customers, answer phones and manage voicemail, book fittings and manage the fitting calendar, help the customer service representative manage the pick‑up closet, and assist with general store cleanliness. - Other Duties
Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge, keep the individual desk clean and organized, and utilize all safety protocols and equipment as set forth by the employee handbook and company policy.
Job Skills
- Knowledge of golf equipment and shafts
- Understanding of ideal golf ball launch characteristics
- General knowledge of club repair
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and POS experience
Job Skills
- Experience with Track Man or similar launch monitor technology
- Retail sales experience
- Customer service experience
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent phone etiquette skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
