The Position
Vince is seeking a dynamic, customer service driven Part‑Time Sales Supervisor at Vince Tysons Galleria.
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for generating sales and building customer relationships in our retail stores. Associates who demonstrate high proficiency in interacting with customers and identifying their needs will maximize their sales opportunities. The associate will be responsible for continuing the client contact beyond the initial sale by capturing name, address, phone and email contact information and using multiple means to communicate and build relationships with customers.
The associate will also maintain the visual and housekeeping standards of the store, including receiving merchandise, presenting it on the selling floor, processing markdowns, and removing items for transfers. The associate must be able to operate our point‑of‑sale (POS) register system and email system.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $17 to $21 per hour. Exact salary depends on factors such as experience, skills, and budget. Salary may vary based on geographic location.
What You’ll Be Responsible For- Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals agreed upon with the store manager
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of merchandise features and benefits to maximize sales opportunity
- Be a quick thinker who listens to customers, identifies their needs, and overcomes objections
- Develop client relationships beyond the initial transaction using phone, email, and written follow‑up contact
- Maintain housekeeping and visual standards of the store
- Operate the POS register and email systems with computer skills
- Safeguard store inventory by adhering to the company’s loss prevention program
- Follow all store operational policies and procedures
- Manage Client Book and clienteling activities

- Prior experience in luxury retail sales is preferred

- Computer skills to operate our retail POS system, Word, Excel and email
- Ability to lift, carry or move objects weighing up to 35 pounds when merchandising the sales floor and use ladders or stairs
