The Retail Cosmetics Sales Associate - Lancôme at Tysons Corner Center is a full-time, on-site role based in McLean, VA. This role focuses on providing personalized customer service, including greeting shoppers, understanding their skincare and makeup needs, demonstrating Lancôme products, and offering tailored recommendations. The associate will drive sales by engaging customers, maintaining product knowledge, and achieving individual and department goals.

Daily responsibilities include replenishing merchandise, setting up displays, maintaining clean and organized counters, and supporting promotional events and product launches. The role also involves processing transactions, handling returns, adhering to store policies and procedures, and collaborating with colleagues and management to ensure an excellent in-store experience.

• Strong customer service and sales skills, with the ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and meet or exceed sales goals.
• Interest in and knowledge of cosmetics and skincare, including comfort with product demonstrations, shade matching, and beauty consultations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, clear verbal communication, and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to handle point-of-sale systems, manage transactions accurately, and follow cash-handling and retail operations procedures.
• Capacity to work on-site in McLean, VA on a full-time schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales area.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and collaborating within a diverse team.
• Previous retail, cosmetics, or customer-facing experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
