We are growing rapidly and seeking a proven Senior Sales Executive to lead revenue growth and scale our sales organization.
Role Description
The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for driving national revenue growth, leading strategic accounts, and managing a small team of experienced Sales Directors. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical knowledge of private wireless networks, strong enterprise and government sales experience, and a track record of closing complex, high-value solutions.
Raycom is open to consider a part-time, full-time or contracting engagement with the suitable candidate.
This role reports directly to the CEO and will play a key role in shaping Raycom’s go-to-market strategy, partnerships, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee revenue targets across enterprise, public safety, defense, and critical infrastructure markets.
- Apply expertise in Account Management and Business Development strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team (initially managing two senior Sales Directors).
- Drive rapid deployment and large, complex solution sales involving private 5G/LTE, CBRS, edge.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for high-value prospects and customers.
- Personally engage in executive-level selling, negotiations, and deal closures.
- Build strong relationships with partners, system integrators, carriers, and application providers.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design customer-specific solutions.
- Refine sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
- Represent Raycom at industry events, partner meetings, and customer briefings.
- Provide market feedback to inform product strategy and solution development.
- 10+ years of progressive B2B or B2G sales experience in telecommunications and wireless networking.
- Demonstrated success selling private 5G, LTE, CBRS, DAS, or mission-critical communications solutions.
- Proven ability to close multi-six and seven-figure solution-based deals.
- Prior experience managing and mentoring senior sales professionals.
- Strong technical understanding of private LTE / Private 5G architectures, CBRS spectrum, RAN, Core, Edge, and device ecosystems, and the role of AI in 5G/NextG and NTN systems.
- Experience selling to enterprise, government, public safety, defense, and critical infrastructure.
- Executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen with solution-selling mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree required; technical or business discipline preferred.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Experience working with system integrators and technology partners.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local procurement processes.
- Prior startup or high-growth company experience.
- Existing network of enterprise or government decision-makers.
- Base salary commensurate with experience.
