Named Account Executive - Government Accountability Office (GAO)
Our Enterprise Public Sector team focuses on working with existing and growing organizations in the US Federal Government. As a Named Enterprise Account Executive, you will engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire 360 platform.
Responsibilities- Build positive, trusted relationships with key team members and C‑suite decision makers within assigned accounts.
- Develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting.
- Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
- Assist with the development and execution of overall long‑term account strategy aligned to customer business objectives.
- Coordinate internal resources—including product support, customer success, and sales engineering—to meet customer business needs.
- Assist with account planning and define territory/account sales plans to meet and exceed quotas through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing opportunities.
- Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales, and move a large number of transactions simultaneously through the pipeline.
- 5+ years of quota‑carrying software or technology sales and account management experience; ideally focused on large enterprise US Federal Civilian Accounts.
- Experience working within a matrixed environment with various partners (Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Sales Leaders, Executives).
- Highly driven individual with a focus on execution and a strong sense of urgency.
- Business curiosity combined with technical ability to address customer data challenges and earn their trust.
- Solution‑selling mentality: develop a plan and solution, articulate value, and navigate customer complexities to drive revenue.
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Experience selling in the software industry or technical sales (e.g., SaaS).
