We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to partner with our outbound sales teams, drive pipeline through strategic prospecting, and launch a high‑impact sales career at a leading AI‑driven CRM platform.
Overview of the RoleThe BDR role is part of our Sales Development Organization and is the engine behind new business growth. BDRs hired in McLean, VA will focus on the Public Sector, while those in Chicago will focus on Education.
Responsibilities- Generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold calling across existing customers and net new logos in an assigned territory.
- Partner with account teams to identify and source pipeline by researching lines of business, personas, and key decision makers.
- Manage and nurture inbound leads and early‑stage opportunities driven by outbound efforts.
- Participate in an intensive sales training program designed to build foundational skills for a long‑term career in sales.
- Experience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and account research across a mix of new and existing accounts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage decision makers at multiple levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding goals and metrics.
- 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Experience with account planning and working a hybrid list of net‑new and existing install accounts.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
Typical base salary range for this position is $50,570 – $67,665 annually. For California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range is $55,640 – $74,490 per year. Base pay is the only compensation mentioned here; additional bonuses, equity, or benefits may also apply.
