Overview

Modern Infrastructure Sales Executive – Softchoice, Locations: PA, MD, NC, DC, Dallas, TX, McLean, VA. Date:
Jun 6, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Guide customers through modernization of their infrastructure, including data center, hybrid cloud, and networking solutions.
  • Develop and execute account and market penetration plans on assigned accounts.
  • Leverage the challenger sales methodology and insight-driven sales processes to customize solutions for customer needs.
  • Collaborate with district sales teams and leaders to acquire new opportunities within targeted accounts.
  • Drive opportunities from assessment of customer needs through closing deals and diversification.
  • Engage pre‑sales and internal support to provide end‑to‑end service.
  • Nurture strategic relationships with key Hybrid IT partners and vendors.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience selling technology solutions in dedicated sales or technical pre‑sales roles.
  • Extensive experience aligning business objectives with technology requirements.
  • Track record in identifying, developing, and driving sales for legacy infrastructure environments.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Cisco product lines and modern infrastructure needs.
  • Expertise in Data Center, hybrid cloud, and public cloud models, including Azure, AWS, Google, and Managed Services.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and engage with customer decision makers on infrastructure modernization.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional communication skills, especially in conveying complex infrastructure concepts.
  • Proactive demand generation capabilities focused on going‑to‑market rather than responding to existing demand.
  • Success in developing and increasing sales for Managed and Professional Services offerings.
  • Creative, strategic thinker with a client‑focused service approach.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within a designated Sales District, up to 25% of the time.
Compensation

Base pay $106,000 to $150,000 annually + 40% target incentives. Actual salary will vary with location, experience, and other factors.
