Named Account Executive – Government Accountability Office (GAO)
Our Named Enterprise Account Executives engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the 360 platform, build positive, trusted relationships with key team members and C‑suite decision makers, and help customers realize value from their Salesforce investments.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting.
- Build key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts.
- Assist with the development and execution of overall long‑term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives.
- Coordinate internal resources including product support, customer success, and sales engineering to meet customer business needs.
- Assist with account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with other sales resources.
- Define and complete territory/account sales plans for the assigned territory and meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
- Develop and manage the sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales, and move a large number of transactions simultaneously through the pipeline.
- 5+ years of quota‑carrying software or technology sales and account management experience, ideally focused on large enterprise U.S. Federal Civilian Accounts.
- Experience working within a matrixed environment with partners such as Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Sales Leaders, and Executives.
- Highly driven individual with a strong sense of urgency and a focus on execution.
- A blend of business curiosity and technical ability to address customer data challenges and earn trust.
- Solution‑selling mentality: develop a plan and solution, articulate value, and navigate customer complexities to drive revenue.
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience; military experience, volunteer roles, extracurricular leadership, or other work experience will also be considered.
- Experience selling in the software industry or technical sales experience (e.g., SaaS).
Typical base salary range: $141,550 – $189,350 annually (plus incentive compensation, equity, and benefits). In California, New York, and select metropolitan areas (Boston, Chicago, Seattle, Washington DC), the base pay range is $155,700 – $208,300 per year.
