Security Guard

Garda World Security Services is hiring a Security Officer.

• Open availability for scheduling required for weekdays and weekends. Must be available to work mornings, evenings, and overnights. Days off could vary and weekends are required. This is a flex schedule. Would not guarantee full time hours.

• Competitive hourly wage of $22.50 / Hour (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees!)

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Have at least 3+ years Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• Have a state license if required
• Have an active DCJS
• Be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Must be outgoing and have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must have open availability
• Must have no face, neck, or hand tattoos
• Must be able to maintain Garda World's grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards
