Job Schedule:
Day Time Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
- Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
